Surprisingly, Willian handed Fulham the advantage in the semi-final first leg. But goals from Curtis Jones and Cody Gakpo in the second half saw Liverpool steal it from them. The last four games for the Cottagers have been tough ones, with matchups against Chelsea, Liverpool, and Arsenal.
Arsenal was defeated by Fulham in their 2023 season finale. In their most recent Premier League game, they were defeated 1-0 by Chelsea. Therefore, there’s no reason why Marco Silva’s team shouldn’t be optimistic about their chances when they play Liverpool on Wednesday night.
